Selangor is the richest state in Malaysia, economy wise. While the east coast is famed for her beautiful beaches, Selangor too has her own beaches. While the beaches in Selangor may not be as paradise like as those in the east coast of peninsular Malaysia, they are great for fishing, to have a picnic, and simply to relax. While most folks in Selangor would have heard of Morib beach and the Sepang Gold Coast beach, I believe most would not have heard of Kelanang beach in Banting. Kelanag beach is a lesser known beach but an awesome beach to fish at and pic- nic at. However, it is not the best beach for swimming and may be a bit of a frustration to children. Why?
