Berkley soft plastics are the main type of baits used by bass pro anglers and have been helping win tournaments for years. The Berkley Powerbait Swim Shad is one of my favourite soft baits for fishing barramundis, peacock bass, snakeheads, etc.

The Berkley Powerbait Swim Shad comes with red eyes and a flexible tail that moves about in the water mimicking the tail of a swimming fish. They can be fished moderately fast and slow depending on the fish that you are targeting as well as the conditions of the day.

A super bait for catching more fish.

Another good thing about the Berkley Powerbait Swim Shad is that they come pre-rigged with a hook and they are ready to use straight out of the pack. One reason why Berkley Poswerbaits catch more fish is because they are scented. When fish bite them scent is released and that gives the angler enough time for a solid hook set.

One of the best ways to fish the Berkley Powerbait Swim Shad is on Carolina rig. Drag it about at the bottom of the lake (speed depends on the fishing conditions). This mimics a baitfish looking for food at the bottom.
