Scratch That Itch With Mobile Fishing – Fishing Clash
By: The Angler
Fishing is one awesome sport that brings us closer to nature and at the same time build up friendships. It is often said that we go fishing because we want to spend time with our angling buddies, and catching fish is just a bonus. Even if we do not catch any fish on the trip, it is still fun because of the camaraderie. This is indeed true.
But with a pandemic looming over us, we just cannot go out fishing as and when we like in fear of catching the Covid-19 virus. In such circumstances one can scratch that itch by doing some mobile fishing. Why not? It may not be the real thing but look at it this way; it’s a tool to scratch an itch and gives you some fun relief from wanting to fishing.
Scratching an itch with a mobile fishing game can be fun.
At the start of the pandemic, back in 2020 we were in a lockdown (an actual lockdown). It was then that my fishing buddies and I scoured the internet searching for a way to do some fishing within the safety of our homes. We tried a few mobile fishing games and the one we got hooked on to was (and still is) Fishing Clash; an awesome fishing game that gave us countless hours of fun.
The Game starts with the player fishing at Florida Coast. All players will get the same fishing tackle at the start. This allows the angler to catch fishes like mutton snappers, black seabass, white grunt, lion fish, etc. the resident fishes that call Florida Coast home. There are many places to fish at as you advance through the game.
To advance the game you will have to achieve certain missions by catching various fish species specified in the level that you are in, and hopefully land the biggest one within a set time period. You will have to also collect more lures, catch unique fishes, upgrade your fishing tackle (or equipment), compete with other anglers, and more. When you’ve met certain set requirements within the individual waters (levels); new fishing areas begin to open up to you. They include waters such as the Amazon, Loch Ness, Mediterranean Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, etc. each of them with their own species of fish.

Since fishing is a way to spend time hanging out with friends, Fishing Clash allows you to do just that. You can form a clan (group) and go fishing together. There are battles between clans where the winning clan gets to keep plenty of rewards to boost them further into the game.
Just like real fishing, losing the fish mid battle does happen. Line burst, and bad hooksets do happen. To successfully win battles with fishes, one will have to fight the fish based on a meter. Too light and the fish drops the hook. Too tight and the fish breaks the line. Too weak a tackle and you get spooled. Choosing and using the most appropriate fishing tackle certainly is something to adhere to just as one will do in the real world of fishing.
One can fish with one’s fishing buddies by creating a clan.
So, you do want to scratch that itch, right? Why not try give Fishing Clash a try? Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store and start having fun. After that do remember to share the game with your fishing buddies and start your own clan. This way you still get to hang out with your fishing buddies, do some fishing, and have loads of fun during this pandemic.
