What’s The Big Deal With 8?

So, what is the big deal with 8 carriers? Carriers are smaller lines, and in Berkley’s case; smaller Dyneema lines. Dyneema is known to be the toughest fibre around. Eight carriers means that 8 smaller Dyneema lines are put together to make 1 strong line. 8 carriers also mean that the line can take more torture.

Better Distance

The Berkley Fireline Ultra 8 is a rounder line compared to early days Fireline. This allows for smoother line glide during every cast. Smoother line gliding off the guides means better distances.
