Subconscious Fishing Therapy

So, the government has decided that fishing is one of the activities that could spread the corona virus. Well, this means that fishing cannot be done. As for me I have serviced my reels, cleaned my fishing rods because they have caught dust instead of fish, rearranged my tackle boxes and lures, etc. Of course I still yearn to get my butt out on a boat and go tame some hard fighting fishes.

Well, since I cannot go out as much as I used to, I decided to use my time to learn. One of the things that I’ve learned over the past year and a half is NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming and have earned myself a practitioner certificate. As I work towards my Master Practitioner I have used what I have learned to help a good number of people to change habits, break phobias, etc. Then it occurred to me that I can use this to experience fishing from my office.

I miss the sea.

With that in mind I have given myself the experience of fishing out at sea and on a lake whilst sitting in my office chair, and whilst lying in bed before falling asleep. The experience is quite awesome. Of course I know that I am not out there fishing but I felt the excitement and also some relaxation; taking my mind off the craziness that our country is currently experiencing.

How nice it will be to be here in Taman Negara.
