The Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 is a good looking reel that comes in black with electric blue colours. It wears the same shape or design of current Abu Garcia Revo low profile reels. But one recognizable difference is that the Deez 8 comes with a light weight flat cork knob instead of the usual black EVA knobs commonly used with Revo reels.

Light Weight

Unlike other Abu Garcia Revo reels, the Deez 8 comes with a frame that is super light weight. This lightweight frame is made of magnesium. It is a strong and tough frame as like the frames of other Abu Garcia Revo low profile reels. This new frame is called the One Piece Feather Metal Frame.

To continue to bring lightness to the Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 low profile reel; the side plates comes with the proven C6 Carbon plates that are not just lightweight but also tough an strong with stiffness that is comparable to that of magnesium. The upside; significant savings weight wise without sacrificing durability.

The use of super light Duralumin spools (this reel comes with two spools) further brings the weight of the Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 low profile reel down. Duralumin is not just lightweight but also tough. Duralumin is not just used at the spool. Even the gears are Duralumin. The Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 low profile reel comes with Ultra Super Duralumin Gears that are both lightweight and tough.

The smoothness of the Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 is enhanced with the use of Super Free Ceramic Bearings and Abu Garcia’s proven High Performance Corrosion Resistant (HPCR) bearings. The use of the Super Free Ceramic Bearings allows for low resistance rotation and they are also tough and durable.

Better Casting Capabilities

When it comes to casting it is good to be able to have more control over the cast settings. This allows the angler to be able to cast in many conditions. The Abu Garcia Revo Deez 8 low profile reel comes with Abu Garcia’s Magtrax III (3) braking system of which is a magnetic braking system made up of 10 magnets; five of which are 3mm thick and the other five are 1.5mm thick. Different thickness gives different magnetic forces. The magnets are removable from their pockets to further help the angler with adjusting his or her cast.
